Construction Crew / Laborer (Traveling) Loughrea & Associates is a nationally contracted material handling company specializing in racking installation. Employees in this position can also gain experience in racking construction methods and techniques. This position also includes training on the use of construction equipment such as a forklift and scissor lift. The open full-time position is for a general associate / laborer. (Entry level) Responsibilities of this position include: • Following company procedures to complete the racking project in a safe and efficient manner. • Performing work in a manner that keeps the project on time and on budget • Driving company vehicle to and from job sites. • Keeping a healthy working relationship with co-workers, onsite contacts, and the customer. • Operating construction equipment necessary to complete project (typically a forklift and scissor lift) • Using hand and power tools to complete work Please note this position requires extensive traveling. Transportation to and from the jobsite location is provided. Hotel accommodations are also provided. Employees are compensated for all travel time and receive a per diem meal allowance for days working on-site. Position is also labor based and will include lifting, bending, twisting, walking and standing long hours on concrete. The following are the qualifications that Loughrea & Associates would prefer the applicant to have: • Trade Labor / Construction experience preferred • High school diploma minimum • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record • Forklift and Aerial lift Certifications preferred (on-site training provided) Starting compensation will be $20/hr.
