Loughrea & Associates is a nationally contracted material handling company specializing in racking installation. Employees in this position can also gain experience in managing construction projects with a small crew, while traveling the country. The open full-time position is for a Foreman to lead a crew of 4-8 people through various projects around the US. Here is a short list of responsibilities for this position: • This is a management position and will require the employee to supervise and direct the actions of others to complete the project both on time, and on budget. • Direct contact with the contracting customer and the end user. • Be able to recognize, communicate, and resolve any issues with the crew, customer, and end user. • Coordinate the technical aspects of the project on-site. o Read and understand blueprints o Delegate tasks to employees o Perform other needed tasks personally o Load and Unload materials and equipment from flatbed and box trailers o Follow company policies and procedures to complete project o Other required tasks pertinent to the project’s completion. • Physically perform the tasks necessary to complete the project. o Position is also labor based and will include lifting, bending, twisting, walking and standing long hours on concrete. • Operate construction equipment (typically a forklift and scissor lift). • Maintain a safe working environment, following OSHA and on-site regulations. • Drive company vehicle to and from job sites. Please note this position requires extensive traveling. Transportation to and from the jobsite location is provided. Hotel accommodations are also provided. Employees are compensated for all travel time and receive a per diem meal allowance for days working on-site. The following are the qualifications that Loughrea & Associates would prefer the applicant to have: • Project / Construction Management experience • High school diploma minimum o Constriction Management degree / secondary education preferred • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record • Forklift and Aerial lift Certifications Please attach resume and leave your phone number when replying to this post.
