DEAF SENSITIVITY TRAINING CLASSES to be given at State of Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board Headquarters. Location: 2643 East University Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85034 (1 minute off of I-10). The class is AZ POST CERTIFIED. A series of dates will be listed on the website at www.DeafSensitivityTraining.com For now, the initial series' dates are: June 29, midnight-4a Live, Interactive Webinar July 6, 9am-1pm July 20, 12pm-4pm July 25, midnight-4am Live, Interactive Webinar July 27 8am-12pm August 9, 8am-12pm August 29, 12pm-4pm Sept 7, 12pm-4pm State of AZ POST requires a working webcam for sworn officials to receive 4 hours of training credit. Certificates will be distributed at the end of the class. They will be emailed to those attending online. For those attending online, we ask that an inexpensive pair of earplugs be purchased. They range in price from $1.00 to $4.00 and are usually available at most pharmacies.
