These are stressful times and a great way to relieve that stress is to channel it through drumming! I have been giving fun & affordable drum lessons for 12 years now. I can't guarantee results but 200+ students: every beginner has learned a basic comprehension of the instrument and can play a few basic beats. I take pride that I've taught all walks of life and a huge majority have improved on the instrument. Some have shown true joy after learning songs they love or more complicated world rhythms. Lessons are given on my drumset at my band's practice space on Capitol Hill. For minors, I make house calls (some travel cost may apply) I offer an intro package deal of 3 (1hour) lessons for only $99 or a single lesson for $40. My schedule is flexible & you can pick the days (must be used within a month for package deal) I teach: > All Styles > Basic Rudiments > Different Time Signatures > Music Theory > Poly Rhythms > All Levels > Fills > Solos > Double Bass Drum Basics > How to apply your ideas to the kit My methods are a bit more organic. I do have a general lesson plan that covers the basics of different genres (cherry picked for various books) but I also try to work with the student's learning abilities. My approach is more more relaxed than some teachers. The goal is to not only teach you proper methods but also help you "own" your talent. Music is about expression and should be fun!
