My partner and I are looking for a place to live. We have a cat and dog who would be coming with us. Looking for two bedrooms, not in a shared house up to $1900 a month. I work in Admin for an engineering company and my partner has a disability that makes them unable to work. We have renting history, fair credit, a cosigner and neither of us have been evicted. We have tried low and moderate income housing, but the wait-lists are years long. I work on the Eastside and would like to have up to a half hour commute (flexible because traffic). Anything from Renton to Mill Creek east of Lake Washington. We know this is a long shot but we're running out of ideas. I know this is a problem a lot of folks are facing and maybe you have dealt with this and maybe have some hints for us! Any helpful recommendations or links to places with availability would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you know of someone renting out a cottage on their property, or a backyard loft?
