Looking to rehome a 1yr old male husky that is up to date on shots but has not been fixed yet asap before unfortunately having to take him to a shelter! I was asked to dog sit for a week and the owners have unfortunately decided they no longer want him because he’s too much for them to handle. His name is Texan and he is a very sweet and affectionate dog but is also full of energy. He is housebroken but does need someone that is willing to take the time to teach him proper obedience. He does listen to certain commands like sit, paw, law, turn around and roll over. I do not know how he does with other dogs but we’ve had to keep our cat in our daughters bedroom with her while he’s been here. The owners suggested I surrender him to a shelter and my heart just can’t allow that but unfortunately I am not able to keep him myself with our work schedule and the fact that we are not permitted to have dogs here. Unfortunately the shelter will be my only option as of tomorrow morning. I am asking a small rehoming fee to make sure that he’s not going to go to another family that’s also just going to give up on him as easily as his prior one has!!
