Hello my fellow artists… Have you ever wanted to run your own pottery studio? Teach classes? Have a retail space to display your goods? I may have an opportunity for you…. There is a cafe in the works on the north side of Portage Bay, near University Bridge, that has space available below/behind that I think would be perfect for a pottery studio. It is 561 sf, has an insulated back area for a kiln, plenty of power, and a cafe (coming soon) upstairs where pottery pieces can be displayed. I am actually the owner of this cafe to be, and although I have absolutely no experience in pottery, I think that a pottery studio is the perfect symbiotic business for a cafe. Right now this is just a dream of mine, so, I haven’t really worked out the details, so, if this sounds at all like something you or friends of yours would be interested in, please reach out to me.
