Description
Looking for price of labor if I supply the car and the parts and fluids
2007 Saab 9-3 2.0T 4cly 6sp
Needing done:
-Clutch replacement including master and slave cylinders
-Front engine cover seals/gaskets
To give brief idea.....
-Transaxle is General Motors' F40 6sp manual body
-Engine is based on GM's Ecotec design
-For tran, the battery and subframe and few other things need to be pulled aside
-For engine seal, the engine block needs to be lowered 3-4" to get clear access to pulley, which if all that other stuff subframe/mounts are being moved might be a golden window to tackle engine's cover
-Am seasonal was super busy March-May was originally aware of and hoping to tackle just engine seals when June slow season kicks in, but out of nowhere the clutch decided to fizzle randomly so yay me
-Several unreliable friends suggest it's probably just a slave cylinder, but the even lesser reliable buddies saying even it was just slave today at that age mileage just knock out everything in one fell swing
Mobile or shop based mechanics
Last bits.......
-Can do mobile in driveway or drive (very carefully) to a shop based setting
-I know it's going to be a step above an intermediate job
-For some reason for Austin TX I have to make this last bit clear: in addition to quote/bid, someone who follows thru without ghosting me, without triple booking their schedule cherry picking jobs always putting me on the back burner. That was not fun being strung along for 3 weeks, never again
