A Mobile DJ company in VT is looking to add quality people to its roster in time for the busy Summer/Fall season. If you are a fun-loving, outgoing individual with weekends free and reliable transportation this could be the perfect part-time job for you. You don't need ANY experience in the DJ business since we provide complete and free training on state of the art equipment. Experience is a plus. The ideal candidate for a professional MC and DJ must: Be outgoing, people person, fun, energetic, responsible Have weekend availability Ability and/or willingness to speak in public Attend training Maintain perfect attendance and timeliness. Because of the nature of our business, perfect attendance is a must! We do not tolerate late/no shows Be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times. Always represent The company brand well. Must be able to stand during events (typically 5-7 hours with a short break) and no use of phones during the operating time of the equipment. Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, SUV a plus Be a problem solver who can think on their feet Preferred 1 year of MC/DJ experience in the wedding industry Preferred music knowledge from the 50’s to today’s hits Must be able to facilitate a minimum 10-20 events per year Able to provide 2-3 references or reviews Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment of 40+/- lbs without assistance. Willing to commit to dates well in advance Willingness to travel throughout the state of VT and occasionally to NY & NH Serious inquiries only. Typically we can see our calendar 60-90 days out, but we do have short-term bookings that arise. This is a great long-term, part-time opportunity for an outgoing, responsible and trustworthy person at a great pay rate!
