Qualifications Night Shift (Required) Driver's License (Required) High school or equivalent (Preferred) Position: Photo Booth / Lighting Technician / AV Technician Compensation: Based on experience Hours: 8-10 hours (On average - Start to Finish) We specialize in the rental of customized photo booths / lighting fixtures and set up AV systems to fit any event - for corporate events, weddings, birthdays, graduations, and many other types of events and private parties. Our company is well established and we're looking to add to our team of responsible, creative, intelligent, and friendly individuals. SUMMARY OF DESCRIPTION We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals who enjoy working with people and love having fun. Job will require you to be organized, detail oriented and have the ability to work on a team. Our attendants pick up the equipment from our warehouse and it must be tested and prepared before each job to ensure success. Once they are on-site, occasional tech support for the photo booths may be needed. There are times when you will need to transport the equipment, set up, and breakdown for the event. We have various events in Vermont, New Hampshire and upstate NY. MUST be available to work weekends. Typical events last 4-5 hours (plus equipment pick up & drop off, travel, set up & break down) and occur mostly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Our office is based in South Burlington VT and equipment will be picked up and dropped off at this location by the attendants. RESPONSIBILITIES Attend training Maintain perfect attendance and timeliness. Because of the nature of our business, perfect attendance is a must! We do not tolerate late/no shows Be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times. Always represent The company brand well. Must be able to stand during events (typically 4-5 hours with a short break) and no use of phones during the operating time of the equipment Transport, set up, break down equipment Understand back-end operation of the equipment - training will be provided, but a general understanding of computers and cameras is ideal Dress according to company policy for events SKILLS AND ABILITIES Tech savvy a plus with computers, AV equipment and cameras but training will be provided Must have strong communication skills Must be friendly, energetic and fun; excellent customer service skills Must be 18 years or older Must be able to lift without assistance (40 lbs+/-). Attendants will load equipment in and out of the vehicle and event venue Must have a valid drivers license, full insurance on their vehicle and reliable transportation that will be able to fit equipment Problem solver and can perform under stress well. "Small" tech issues arise occasionally EVENT CALENDAR: Typically we can see our calendar 60-90 days out, but we do have short-term bookings that arise. COMPENSATION: Pay starts at $20-30/hourly. Will train truly motivated individuals with high potential. This is a great long-term, part-time opportunity for an outgoing, responsible and trustworthy person at a great pay rate!
