Let's chat and see if this could be a future career for you! We make solid wood tables in our Bristol, VT woodshop and deliver them up and down the Atlantic seaboard. We're looking for drivers that want to be a part of a company that cares about its product, its clients, and its employees. Our vehicles currently include a 24' box truck with air brakes and liftgate and a 140" van. CDL is not required for this job. We deliver both to warehouses and private homes. Weekly routes are typically a VT-MA-NJ loop, occasionally going farther south down the Atlantic seaboard. We cover all expenses, including a daily food budget on overnights and individual private hotel room per driver. Starting pay: $20.00/hr. Applicants accepted for the position will receive a $500.00 sign-on bonus after the first 90 days of employment. For immediate start. Multiple openings available. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Drive vehicles and handle furniture with exceptional care. Load and unload vehicles. Wrap furniture with blankets and secure to prevent damage in transit. Carefully install items in residence, office, warehouse, or other destination. REQUIREMENTS include the following. Satisfactory driving record. Ability to obtain a DOT medical card (company will cover expense). Ability to lift furniture in the delivery process.
