Looking for no drama, talented, bass and guitar for country folk band. We have drummer, guitar and vocals. Songs are written. We want to play shows locally and in the region by fall. Planning a trip to Nashville to do a demo. Looking for people who have been playing at least five years. Beware ageists: we are in our late thirties. Influences include: John Prine, Handsome Family, Sam Cooke, The Ronettes, The Cramps, Toy Dolls, Mekons. Slowdive. We are country folk at our roots but dabble in punk and shoegaze. All songs written require knowledge of country folk. Practice is in Edgewater, on Wednesday/Thursday evenings, though we can be flexible. Please send a sample and we'll be in touch.
