SEEKING LEAD GUITAR - Casual "jam" sessions

Seeking lead guitarist to be a part of a casual and friendly group of mostly older players/singers who are getting together every other Sunday afternoon to make music purely for the fun of it. Our next session is set for June 12. We have about 20 on our 'active' list and out of this a typical session sees us with six to ten players - with multiple guitars, keys, violin, mandolin, bass and drums, an occasional sax, along with several vocalists. There's no particular commitment or obligation involved and our folks are free to join us when they can, with no one getting any grief when they don't. And we are looking for someone who can handle lead guitar for us, hopefully on a regular basis. Our interest leans mostly to older rock and popular stuff, but we have no rules about that. For that matter, we don't have many rules at all. In most cases, it is our singers who pick what they want us to play and we go with that. And to be clear, we are not working on "forming a band" and we are not looking to play gigs. One thing that is important to us is that everyone check at the door their ego, attitude, drama, politics and religion, because what we are all about is having fun with our music.
