Voting for a NEW mayor & city council will be a good start. The current self serving leaders only serve their pet projects & crazy projects that we the people voted down. $750,000.00 dog park in Riverfront park. Build sports arena DT. Oh the hell with our potholes & shortage of police officers. I know there are potholes from last year that were never touched. Oh, & yes lets spend millions to buy & operate a homeless shelter clear out on the edge of town not near ANY services. Lets not forget we are getting a ZIP LINE in Riverfront park. HEY CITY LEADERS WHAT ABOUT TAKING CARE OF THE BASICS? Speak to any police officers about the shortages they have & while your at it thank them for their service. If the current leaders would put their wild spending on hold for 2 years & divert those funds to taking care of our streets, crime, & common sense needs of the public we might see true progress. I have lived here 75 years & I am simply ashamed of our current leadership. If you keep voting them in then change will not come.
