Fogelpole Cave, the longest cave in Illinois, is an account of Father Wightman’s fascination with caves that began as a teenager and lasted a lifetime. He has mapped about 10 miles of the cave, taking photos and documenting the history. Join us as we travel through the enormous corridors and over the numerous water falls of this little-known cave. A Clifftop representative will provide a brief update on future plans for the Subterranean Nature Preserve.
