We are currently searching for a licensed electrician that can perform an inspection as well as minor installations and removals of existing outlets and wiring. Further work is tbd (To be determined). Requirements 1. Providing a quote before hand. 2. Installing gfci outlets and covers. 3. Safety checking and sealing off electrical wires. 4. Ceiling or removing wiring. 5. Installing light fixtures, ceiling fans, and chandelier. Responsibilities: 1.Must provide updated electricians license. 2.Must provide drivers license or state I.D. 3. Must provide phone number & email. 4. Must be available Thur-Saturday mornings, due to it being the only days I will be free to provide access to the property. Job offer: This posting will be on a first come first serve bases, and I will be choosing the contractor that not only is the best fit for my budget but someone who is willing to do future work on possibly larger projects. The Worksite: This property is currently under remodeling, so there will be no running water or working electricity. Pay- The Current compensation for this job will be a flat rate of $300.00 which will cover 1.Installing the gfci outlets and covers where they are needed. 2. Removing the wiring in the kitchen, and 3.preforming the inspection before notifying the city inspector to allow reactivation of electricity to the property, -Electrical work must pass inspection before moving forward with renovations. If there is any misunderstanding of why there is a flat rate instead of hourly pay. It's because the previous tenants were not very considerate and chose to vacate the property without notice but not before removing plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures and surprisingly enough door knobs. Which is why we are seeking a more independent contractor rather than going with a company, it is simply out of the budget with all the work that has to be done. I am willing to negotiate on the rate depending on the contractors ability to perform all duties required. -Keep in mind materials will be provided on my end. Also this project must be finished within a 3 day weekend cash at the end. This is in order to have the property up and running in livable conditions for this summer. That being said we are also in the market for someone with plumbing experience but if you are souly a professional electrician that works just fine.
