*Blue pit bull on side of Tucson closest cross streets Escalante and Prudence*.
Male still intact, cropped ears, hoping someone recognizes him!
I do not have him contained. I would like to try to get them off the streets but would not be able to foster him (I already have two big rescue dogs and another little dog all males, 3 kids all boys, and 2 150 pounds+ sulcata tortoises we rescued both male so my wife would kill me) so I would need an immediate foster if anyone’s interested. I know PACC is overwhelmed with dogs right now and I do not want him going down there. He does have several people that I have talked to in that neighborhood that look after him by giving him water and food. A couple of the neighbors that I have talked to think he might have been abandoned when somebody moved out but they’re not sure. One neighbor said that he used to be able to pet him all the time but a couple weeks ago he stopped going around people. He seems to be waiting for somebody to come get him but when approach he will just casually walk away. Tonight was the first night that I actually got him to walk over towards me not close enough for me to get him though. I’ve been going over there at night and early in the morning that’s when he seems to be around and I make sure his water and food bowls are full. Any advice or anybody that could help me get this dog off the street I would really appreciate it. It is going to start getting real hot for the next three months and he definitely doesn’t deserve to live out in that heat that is to come.
