Foreman - Enhancement Landscaper $19-$22 hourly (Based on experience) Employment Type: Full-time, year-round Reports to: Enhancement Manager Berman is a leader in property management and facility services. Schedule: Monday-Friday 6A-4:30P Monday – Thursday, OFF Saturday and Sunday. (Landscape schedules are adjusted as needed based on weather conditions and client requests and may require evenings, weekends and holidays). Primary Responsibilities: · Hands on position, in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of the Enhancement crew members. · Follow a written plan detailing routine and project work to be performed. · Attend safety training and follow all safety policies including proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment. · Inspect completed work to address deficiencies. · Operate landscape tools and equipment including mowers, edgers, weed eaters, blowers, aerators, and chain saws, etc. · Actively promotes safety resulting in low recordable incident rate. · Plant flowers, shrubs, sod, and trees as requested. · Maintain health and appearance of landscaping. · Inspect and repair irrigation systems such as sprinkler heads. · Supervise crew up to 8 members. · Monitor and inspect equipment to ensure safe and effective working condition and make repairs as required. Sharpen blades on tools and equipment as needed. · Minimum Requirements: · 2 years related experience in related field and managing crews. · Must be able to verbally communicate with Enhancement manager and co-workers. · Must have experience operating various types of commercial landscape equipment including mowers and other gas powered equipment. · Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the company’s carrier. · Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and assist in safely lifting to 50 pounds of material. Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather common in Central Florida, including extreme heat and humidity. REFERENCES WILL BE CHECKED AND VERIFIED CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED: - Clean Criminal Background - Successful passing of a drug screening will be required prior to employment offer - Must pass driving background check and be insurable thru our carrier
