Property management company seeking experienced maintenance technician. This is a 1099 position. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of multiple rental houses all over southeast Michigan as scheduled by Maintenance Manager. Essential duties include but are not limited to: • Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, and painting. • Knowledge of HVAC systems • Respond to resident service requests in a timely manner as assigned by supervisor • Make ready units for new move-ins in a timely manner as assigned by supervisor • Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping, including snow removal as directed • Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees • Excellent communication with the ability to follow oral and written instructions • Ability to work with others and/or independently • Prioritize and organization. • Any other related duties as requested by supervisors and management. The responsibilities listed above are by no means all-inclusive and can be modified as the supervisory & management team deem fit. REQUIREMENTS • Dependability, attendance is an imperative job function • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule. • Demonstrate the ability to do tasks described above • Physical ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, lift, reach and move up to 50lbs • Unrestricted Driver's License, as driving is an essential function for this position • Reliable transportation.
