Warehouse Assistant wanted! Job description may include the following:
Tools:
o Log tools into software tracking program under the Foreman and project number & name
o Make sure all tools leave warehouse in a clean and safe state.
o All ground plugs, dust bags and guards are included when dropping off and picking up tools.
o All safety PPE is included with tools, ie. Face shields, safety glasses and ear plugs.
o When delivering baker scaffold include lock pins, casters and safety rails.
Stock gang boxes as needed:
o Log assigned gang box to the Project Number & Name
o First Aid Kit (Refill when requested/needed throughout the project)
o Screws
o Wood glue
o Adhesive
o Silicone
o Trim nails
o Zipits/easy anchors
o Toggles
o Jig saw blades
o SDS Drill bits
o Sanding belts
Vehicles
o Clean and maintain company vehicles and trailers
o Oil changes
o Registration/plates
o Keep records of all vehicle maintenance and repairs
o Email a copy of any vehicle receipts to the Operations Coordinator
Supplies:
o Order inventory supplies as needed, maintain adequate inventory at the warehouse at all times of common items.
o Track and report supply deliveries with job number & name to job sites for accounting purposes
o Order and stock PPE for field employees.
o Safety glasses
o Hard hats
o Vests
o First aid kits
o Accept, inspect and document deliveries to warehouse.
o Stock warehouse, making sure to keep clean and organized.
Deliveries:
o Valid Drivers license needed.
o Load vans/ box trucks daily as needed.
o Pick up and drop off tools and materials to jobsites throughout Chicagoland construction projects.
