One of our Downtown clients is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector on a Direct Hire basis! If you have any experience in the manufacturing industry this might be your next position! This position is 100% onsite. Compensation: $47,840 - $56,160 DOE Schedule: M-F 6am-3pm or 7am-4pm In this role, the employee will audit products and inspect parts in a variety of departments and inspection functions, including Receiving, First Article, Plot Inspection, In-Process, MRB, Calibration Inspection, Hardware Assembly, Ink Stamp Inspection, Prototype, and Final Inspection. Responsibilities:  With cross training, can perform all the responsibilities in Quality Department. Utilizes hand inspection tools or more advanced measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, scales, CMMs, etc. to perform attribute inspections. Must be knowledgeable of customer’s specifications and their interpretations. Identifies defects and assists in tracing to the root cause of the problem. Supports and interprets the Quality System. May assist in the training of less experienced Inspectors. Provides suggestions for improving quality and safety as they are identified, and enforces all company and safety rules and regulations. Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required. 2 or more years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector in a manufacturing environment required. Training Required: ISO-9000 Implementation (must be completed) OSHA Compliance (must be completed) MSOP or PSOP 100 through 211 as applicable (will certify on the job) A-INS or D-INS 001 through 5004 as applicable (will certify on the job) Additional Departmental Training as required by Quality Assurance Manager
