JOB DESCRIPTION: Technician will be working on healthcare monitoring installations for Hospitals. From installing the physical monitors, PC’s, network switches as well as programming/configuring. Cat5 cable experience preferred Fiber experience a plus. Cisco networking a plus. Must be very professional and able to represent SCT in the challenging healthcare environment. Background in healthcare deployments a plus. Must provide own personal hand tools and drills, etc. We have a tool list to share. RESPONSIBILITIES: Installation of patient monitoring equipment in hospitals. Must be able to communicate with customers and vendors on a professional level and have best interest of company in mind when interfacing with customers on and off sites. REQUIREMENTS: Must present a positive, professional image to employees, customers, and clients in all interactions. Must have strong communication skills and experience working with customers. Must have a strong working knowledge of basic hand tools including a powered drill. Have problem-solving skills and able to think on your feet. Have a general working knowledge of computers. Ability to work evenings and weekends if needed. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license Must be able to pass a nationwide background check and drug screen. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position has no supervisory responsibilities WORK ENVIRONMENT Hospital Environment. Many hospitals require MMR, Hep B, Chicken Pox, Flu, TDAP, and Covid vaccines as well as submitting to annual TB test. PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:· Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds regularly.· Grasp and manipulate various hand tools.· Twist, bend, pull, push reach, and stoop regularly.· Standing up to 14 hours per day. TRAVEL: Travel from home with multiple overnight stays is required with this position. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must possess a valid Driver’s License during the term of employment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time, irregular working hours Monday thru Friday. Weekends may be required based on customers need. Job Type: Full Time 1099 Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
