Creative restaurant group looking for a super organized line cook or junior sous chef who is open-minded and looking to be trained to be a leader. Must enjoy the ebb and flow of the culinary world, and have coping mechanisms for high pressured moments and chaos. This position must be able to work alone at times and keep organized while training and preparing to train others. Must love vegetables and have foundational skills including basic cooking methods, knife cuts, understanding of where our food comes from. We can train your palate to work with ours, but we cannot change your love for hospitality. Must love hospitality and be solution-oriented. Please do not apply if you're burnt out - rest, instead. Women-lead team. Warm and supportive work culture within high pressured environment. Learning experience will be unlike anything else. You will learn a lot in a short time, and you must be open to that (focused, notebook in hand, ability to ask the right questions, emotional maturity, reliable). We offer a lot of joy and share our love of art and hospitality. Must have car. Restaurant is in a part of downtown that does not have direct public transportation.
