Description
Oxyacetylene Torch Operator qualifications:
TWIC card required.
Competent with a oxy/fuel torch; cutting/washing/scarfing.
Ability to set up torch and begin working unassisted.
Must be able to cut flush to deck without gouges and damaging deck.
Training available.
Work environment:
Welders and cutters will be onboard ship.
All work is outdoors.
Most work is within Houston city limits with few some of out of town. Most out of town work is typically less than a week.
All out of town expenses are covered by the company.
This is a contractor position for project jobs with average of 10 hours per day from 2-10 days at a time. Long term employment will be based upon contractor’s ability to work within the scope the company sets forth.
Pay commensurate with experience.
