The Company Bees is a female trio paying tribute to the music of the 1940s with a heavy emphasis on the music of the Andrews Sisters. We have been performing our show together for nine years with all original members. We sing to background tracks and wear custom-made costumes and wigs. Our alto has decided to hang up her microphone, so we are looking for a replacement. Our ideal candidate has an ear for difficult harmony, an ability to sing solos, must memorize all lyrics and scripted comments, and be able to learn simple choreography. Our typical show is 75 minutes. Our performances are on cruise ships (no overnights), senior events, veterans events, and we have a separate show for the Christmas season. We typically perform on weeknights and weekdays, with occasional gigs on the weekends.
