This contracted position, a maximum of 12 hours per week, begins at the end of July. General janitorial services are to be provided three or more days per week, excluding Sundays, with the days and times to be determined. The work site is a multi-story residential/vacation rental complex with elevator in Poipu. Most of the work is to be performed in breezeways or outdoors. Summary duties include any combination of general janitorial tasks to ensure the common areas of the property are clean and sanitary, thus providing a healthy and comfortable environment for residents, guests, and employees. Condominium cleaning is not requested. Tasks include, but are not limited to, cleaning hallways, lobbies, recreation room and one (1) half-bath, elevator, stairways, recycle and storage rooms. Contractor will supply all labor to perform the below-listed tasks consistently and reliably. Some equipment and basic supplies will be provided, if requested, and secure storage for supplies is available for contractor’s use. Prior to beginning work contractor will be required to submit Form W-9, copy of HI GE Tax License, and certificate of liability insurance. TASKS – DAILY • Hose exterior walkways as needed • Clean and disinfect lobby drinking fountain • Sweep/mop lobby and bathroom floors • Empty all trash cans in recreation room, bathroom, and others as assigned • Clean and disinfect bathroom (1/2 bath): toilet, mirror, sink, countertop • Polish chrome/metal and dust all surfaces in bathroom, including baseboards • Spot clean bathroom walls, cabinet, windowsill, and door • Wipe exposed bathroom piping • Check for and remedy all areas for spills, water, etc., especially in lobbies, hallways and walkways, elevator, and community bathroom TASKS - WEEKLY • Sweep and mop interior stairwell • Wipe entrance-ramp and lobby railings • Sweep storage room floor • Wipe aluminum railings on exterior walkways and stairways • Mop elevator corridors and lobby floors • Wipe elevator stainless doors, frames, and jams (interior and exterior) • Dust all hard surfaces, furniture, pictures, and lamps in recreation room • Vacuum all areas of carpet in recreation room • Clean recycle room bins in the absence of a recycling Contractor TASKS - MONTHLY • De-scale bathroom toilet bowl • Wash bathroom and recreation room windows and screens • Dust ceiling fans and fan-light fixtures in recreation room • Clean behind and under furniture and wipe baseboards in recreation room • Clean stairwell, electrical, recycle, and trash room doors • Wipe entry doors and thresholds to recreation room and owner’s locker room • Clean metal elevator thresholds on all floors TASKS – AS NEEDED • Restock soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in bathroom • Clean small refrigerator and microwave in recreation room
