Press release from the City of Jacksonville: May 29, 2022 ACPS Launches Summer Hours Starting Monday, May 30, Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) will be open on Mondays. Adoption hours will be from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Memorial Day. "By opening on Mondays, we hope to make it even easier for community members to open their schedules and their hearts to bring home a new pet," said ACPS Shelter Manager Marcy Gallo. "There is nothing like adopting or fostering a four-legged friend to cure the Monday blues!" Following Memorial Day weekend, adoption hours will be from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays.
