Description

IMPORTANT: You must register on www.Jonathanfrenchguitar.com to attend the event. Tickets will not be valid unless registered at www.Jonathanfrenchguitar.com. Thank you for your cooperation! Music Ministry Workshop: Intro to Gospel Guitar is a free workshop designed by guitarist Jonathan French to inspire and empower kids to take part in their community and local churches and explore their creativity through the art of music. Children will be taught the fundamentals of musicianship, basic music theory and more, and they will also learn a song and simple chords on the guitar to give them hands-on experience with an instrument. At the end of the workshop, each child will have the opportunity to present a song and apply what they have learned, and they will also receive a snack at that time. Our hope is that this workshop will give children confidence and a sense of pride that they can then build on if they choose to pursue music as a hobby or career, whether performing in a talent show, playing in a band, leading worship on a Sunday morning or any number of musical ventures! PLEASE TAKE NOTE: - This is a free event for children ages 6-13. - Guitars will be provided for use during the Workshop. - One ticket per child is required to attend the Workshop, and we ask that you please complete a separate registration for each child attending. - If you would like to accompany your child to this event, we ask that only one adult attend per family as space is limited. - Masks are required for this event and we thank you for your cooperation! (If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.) IMPORTANT: You must register on www.Jonathanfrenchguitar.com to attend the event.
