Here are the top stories in Denver today: One climber killed in Rocky Mountain National Park Avalanche. A large avalanche and rockfall injured two climbers on Mt. Meeker on Sunday, near the Dreamweaver Couloir on Mt. Meeker. On Sunday afternoon, a third climber was found dead. (CBS) Lifeguard shortage may for metro Denver public pools to change hours, or not open for the summer. Numerous pools Denver Recreation Center pools won't be open through the summer due to a staffing and lifeguard shortage. Less than half the needed number of lifeguards have been hired. (CBS4) Two kids and missing mom found safe after Amber Alert issued. The woman and her children were reported missing after witnesses reported that they were taken in an alleged domestic violence incident on Saturday. (7News)Colorado water non-profit adds Native American tribes to its board. The Colorado Water Congress is set to expand its board to include representatives of Native American tribes for the first time.
