I’m a guitar/lap steel player looking for like minded individuals to play some Americana, alt-country, whatever you want to call the various bands that could be considered a part of that genre. At the same time, I don’t want to be limited to one genre. I grew up on classic rock, have played in Grateful Dead tributes and jambands. A few tunes in that realm would be nice, but I’m not interested in being a classic rock band or another Dead tribute project. I’m also interested in original material as well. I have been playing in bands for the last 20 years gigging locally at bars, festivals, etc. I’m looking for an established project that may need a guitarist, or I may consider starting a project. If you aren’t very familiar with the bands in the posting title, we unfortunately aren’t going to click. I’m hoping to find some established people that have been in bands and have gigging experience, though the primary goal is to just play some music together and possibly write and record. I have a full rehearsal space setup where I can also record. I know this is a shot in the dark since I don’t know too many people into those bands. Thanks for looking.
