Headlining our concert is Chanté Moore! Hosted by Comedian and Actor, J-Red Opening performances by Mirək(ə)l Be sure to join us with after-party performances by Shawn and the GoGo Band Come out and celebrate the 4th of July with your friends, family and community! Experience a fun-filled night for the whole family that will feature live music, children's activities, games for all ages, food from a variety of vendors that will be sure to satisfy any taste buds, and of course, Fireworks! This year's fireworks show will be extra special and is something you definitely want to be in attendance to witness. This year the cities of DeSoto and Lancaster are again joining forces to celebrate our nation’s independence. FAQ Q: What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? A: Limited parking will be available at Grimes Park at the north and south areas. Satellite parking will be available at Disciple Central Community Church located at 901 N. Polk Street. Shuttle service will begin at 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. which will bring you to and from Grimes Park. Q: Where is parking located? A: Refer to the designated authorized parking locations on the map below. Free authorized event parking will be located along the following streets: Osprey Dr., Falcon Dr., Kestrel Ave., Seahawk Dr. and E. Centre Park Blvd. Q: Who will be performing? A: Chante Mooré is the headline act. Shaun Martin and the GoGo Band and Mirək(ə)l will be performing as well. Q: Will the event still go on if it rains? A: This will be a "Rain or Shine" event. In the event of inclement weather, the decision to relocate to the Recreation Center will be determined by 2pm on July 4th. Updates will be available by calling 972-230-9652.
