Description
I have a little over a year old male veiled chameleon who is otherwise healthy. I'm rehoming because at the moment I don't have the money to take him to the vet I think he's got Burns as his back is missing some scales and looks burned from his lights. His husbandry is pretty perfect so I don't know how this happened there was a few times in the last 2 weeks where we left the air intake on and the heat from outside came inside making our house 90° and in that heat he still had his heat lights on so I am assuming that this is when he got burned but I don't know exactly without taking him to a vet. He's well hydrated and shows no signs of metabolic Bone disease eats every two days a mix of mealworms crickets and wax worms and hornworms. I'm hoping for someone who has the money that they can take him to the vet it's probably going to be at least $300 to get him seen and get him the meds he needs for his back I've been currently using some kind of wound spray for reptiles. I'm going to let you guys take him for free no rehoming fee but I will need proof that you can care for him after he's been rehomed. Also let you take his cage and entire hutch setup although I recommend moving him to a bigger cage once you can attaching photographs.
