National Range Day was created by Marchelle Davis in June 2020 to celebrate and encourage black gun ownership. The holiday coincides with the annual Juneteenth celebration which commemorates the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans. The 2022 National Range Day will take place on Sunday, June 19th. To celebrate, firearms instructors and novice gun enthusiasts are encouraged to meet at their local gun ranges to learn firearm safety, fellowship and practice target shooting. Anyone can celebrate National Range Day by wearing all black in solidarity. We can't wait to see you!
