Happy Memorial Day, New Orleans! Let's get this week started off right, with a quick review of the most important things happening around town. First, today's weather: Partly sunny and humid. High: 88 Low: 76. Here are the top four stories today in New Orleans: A Sunday morning shooting in Little Woods left one man hospitalized after suffering from a gunshot wound. NOPD arrived on the scene around 6:30 am and has continued to investigate the circumstances around the incident. (WGNO New Orleans) A Cajun Encounters Tour bus collided with a vehicle on Sunday morning which left two women seriously injured when the crash caused a fire. The accident happened at the intersection of Chef and Chantilly Drive around 8 am. The two women were transported to a hospital for treatment but no one else was seriously injured. (WGNO New Orleans) A Marrero man, driving without seat belt, was killed in crash in Raceland. NOLA.com) The Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Patch Mill Overlay Project's traffic restrictions will begin on May 31 and will remain closed until the project is complete. The boulevard will be reduced to one lane or traffic will be rerouted through a detour.
