Press release from Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce: May 24, 2022 United Way of Pickens County is recruiting volunteer Reading Buddies for Camp iRock this summer. Volunteers are needed to help campers improve their literacy skills and inspire a love for reading and books. Volunteers are needed twice a week for 30 minutes or more from June 13 to June 30. Volunteers can choose to serve at Camp sites in Easley, Pickens or Liberty. They will provide encouragement as a child succeeds, and they will be able to model through their own actions that reading is fun!
