As we approach the halfway point of the year, we want to check in with everyone and see how your net worth tracking is going, provide encouragement, and support one another in our financial journeys. There will be time to network and drinks/Hors d'Oeuvres provided by the Bethany Nelson Group. We will spend about an hour reviewing the Wealth Series, have a sign up for the next session, as well as raise money for a member of our group, Laura. Part of Financial Reign's mission is to be financially free to have the impact you want on the world. Here is how Laura began her journey to becoming a foster care mom: "For the last year, I’ve been in the process to become a foster mom for children from 0-17 years old. It’s been on my heart for the last 4 years but even before that I saw first hand heart-wrenching experiences in third world countries at orphanages and seeing 85% of kids there who weren’t actually orphans. I knew I needed to step in the gap for bio families like them to offer support, love and temporary care. Not a clue of how it would unfold in that very moment. But 4 years later there was much more clarity on what to do. That was when becoming a foster mom was strong on my heart to step in to love, to nurture, to hold space for Jesus to do what He does in each story of seeing hope and redemptive love happen in small and big ways as I take on the responsibility of caring for their hearts, helping them heal from trauma, learning to let go when I’m called to and believing that every child walking in through the front door may experience Jesus in tangible way as I reflect Him in the everyday."
