Banana Leaf Collective is launching our second zine! Join us at our studio on Saturday, June 11th from 5 - 9pm to celebrate with us and check out an exhibition highlighting our contributors. We’ll kick the party off at 5pm with a floral arrangement workshop by Flowers by Paj Ntsa, then welcome all to an open house from 6 - 9pm. Our featured contributors include: Anand BalarBebe NamnakhoneFlowers by Paj NtsaJustin Ofori-AttaStarbucks Workers UnitedTheresa ShimAGENDA 5pm — floral arrangement workshop with Flowers by Paj Ntsa. Put together a small floral bouquet with the guidance of a florist! Materials will be provided. Register by selecting the "event + floral workshop" ticket option. $10 fee, maximum of 30 participants. 6 - 9pm — open house. After the workshop, we’ll clear the flower clippings and welcome all to enjoy an exhibition highlighting the artists and cultural workers who contributed to this issue of our zine. This portion is free to attend. Zines and artwork will be available for purchase and additional donations are always welcome <3 ADDITIONAL NOTES Please let us know if you plan to join us for the floral workshop and/or open house through this page. You may also send us donations at registration. Proof of vaccination is required for all attendees. Accessibility note: Our studio is located on the 2nd floor of a building without elevators. There are two sets of stairs with a landing between them.
