A night of fun, music, and opportunities to win and donate! Hang out and listen to tunes from local DJs E.M. Allen, Jam Jam, Dee, Justin Walker, and Alex Glendenning; check out our raffle with lots of items to win from local businesses; visit our collage "make-and-take" station; and help us raise funds that will allow us to continue to provide the highest quality arts programming we can for youth in our communities! Youth Arts Alliance works hard every week of the year to ensure that young people and their families in Michigan communities are receiving high quality, healing centered arts programming. We prioritize serving young people who are currently incarcerated in residential treatment and detention facilities, as well as youth who are on probation, and youth in community settings or alternative high schools. YAA programming invites connection, dialogue, and empathy, bringing us towards healthier, more just, collaborative communities. We know what youth tell us: that they feel better after working on art; that they feel supported in our workshops; and that engaging in YAA programming makes them want to continue having new arts experiences. YAA's amazing cohort of teaching artists offer programming in dozens of mediums across the state, in Wayne, Washtenaw, Monroe, Jackson, Calhoun, and Muskegon counties.
