COLUMBUS, OH — State police said a man died Sunday evening after a reported shooting on Ohio Statehouse grounds, according to local media. Officers responded to gunshots around 10 p.m. and found a man hurt in the northwest corner of the grounds, a State Highway Patrol sergeant told the Columbus Dispatch. The officers tried to revive the man, but he died shortly after they found him, according to the Dispatch. Police have not identified the man, and said the incident is not related to Statehouse business, per the report.
