First Day Hike at Bernice Area of Grand Lake State Park - A one mile stroll along the shore of Grand Lake with Park Naturalist, Amanda. COVID-19 SAFETY NOTICE: All guided hikes hosted at Bernice Area at Grand Lake State Park will require masks while hiking and with your group. Group sizes will be limited to 15 or fewer, so if you register for a ticket and cannot attend, please return your ticket so we may open a waitlist spot. This hike is hosted by Amanda at Bernice Area at Grand Lake State Park. Date & Time: January 1, 2021 at 11:30 am Please arrive 10-15 minutes early as the hike is scheduled to start at 11:30 am. Trail: This is a 1 mile stroll at Bernice Area at Grand Lake State Park. This will be a slow-paced walk on an entirely paved path. Gear Needed: Wear sturdy shoes, bring water, a camera, and don't forget your mask. Dogs allowed? Well behaved pets are allowed on a leash. Permits/Parking Passes Needed: Bernice Area of Grand Lake State Park does not require a parking pass. **All event details subject to change due to environmental or restrictive planning conditions** Cancellation Policy: If you are registering for one of our group hikes, we ask that you be 100% committed to attending. If you reserve a spot and you cannot attend, or you are feeling ill or have known exposure to COVID-19, please cancel ASAP. This allows for other hikers who want to join us to be able to attend in your place. About The Waitlist: Why do we have a waitlist? We are limiting group sizes due to COVID-19, so our guided hike will have a limited capacity during this time. If the hike is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist to be notified when a spot opens. We release tickets in the waitlist order and cannot make special exceptions for adding a plus one etc. Should a spot open up, an email will be sent to you asking you to confirm your ticket within 24 hours. If you do not confirm, your ticket will not be valid and will be released to the next person in line on the waitlist.
