They shouldn`t be calling them gun control laws, the guns didn`t do anything wrong, they are public safety laws and I agree with you for the most part. That is exactly what people mean by sensible laws. They don't need to take away guns, they need to come up with better ways of stopping crazy people from getting guns. They need better ways to find kids with issues and people with real skills to help them when they're young and catch the problems before a kid is shooting up a school. This last shooting happened in a state with lax gun laws that allow anybody to buy guns after the age of 18, anybody over 18 can open-carry without a permit/training, and has taken money away from mental health in a time when it is needed most. That means a mentally unstable career criminal can buy a gun from a private owner and open carry and no one would be the wiser. Does that sound safe to anyone? This country is in crisis. I don`t know what they have been putting in our food/water, but this country is rampant with mental illness and it`s coming from somewhere because it wasn`t like this when I was growing up. Things need to change. You will always own guns, you just may have to jump through more hoops to get them for the safety of the country. Worth it? "ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. How long before the fraud changes his mind? People seem to forget that Democrats own guns too. Your guns aren`t going anywhere UNLESS they can`t come up with solutions to our problems. If they can`t then both parties will have no choice but to take guns away from people who can`t seem to be trusted. Write your representatives, write the NRA and tell them to FIGURE THIS OUT before more of our children die and they want our guns. It is inevitable that there will be another mass shooting, maybe next time it will be you. You know what excuse they will use to take guns? The 2nd amendment doesn`t specify that the right to bear arms is absolute and it does not dictate what arms people are allowed to bear. They will take us back to 22 rifles and flintlocks if they feel like it.
