MUSKOGEE'S HISTORIC ROXY THEATER CELEBRATES 2021 (THE YEAR OF THE WOMAN) WITH CAPTAIN MARVEL! Super Hero movies have become the rage again! At least for the past decade or so. This perennially favorite genre has been around for almost as long as movies have been made but it took a long time for female super-hero characters to get their own movies. Perhaps what makes the Captain Marvel character so unique is the fact that she is the most powerful super-hero in the Marvel Comic Universe, male or female. Of course this statement will give rise too much debate. But she was the only character that went toe to toe with the Marvel Comic Universe most powerful villain and had him worried. That's a pretty heady place to be and her origin story in the Captain Marvel movie brings her appearance in the Avengers Endgame full circle. Muskogee's Historic ROXY Theater will show the blockbuster motion picture CAPTAIN MARVEL on Saturday, January 9th at 4:00 and 7:00 pm. Tickets are only $5.00.
