Hello! I'm looking for someone who would be willing to give a good home to a sweet baby mouse :) I have a baby (just weaned) black male fancy mouse that was rejected by his momma as a baby. When he was only about a week old, she attacked him and bit into his back hard, taking out a good chunk of skin. Fortunately, another mouse momma was available to nurse him so he's been growing and thriving, but he still has a large raised scar/mark/scab on his back from the original attack (see photos). He is just now old enough to be weaned, so I'm looking for someone to take him in. He's a super sweet little guy, and other than his ouchie back, he is very healthy and active, but he will take a little extra care and patience compared to other mice. I'd like to rehome him asap because adult mice can be cruel if they sense weakness or sickness in others. His foster mom has been great with him, but as her litter of 10 younger foster siblings age, they may not be so kind :) I'm asking a $5 rehoming fee to make sure he won't become snake food. Pickup in Jarrell TX or I can meet nearby in other cities if you're willing to pay gas money.
