Requirements:
• Physical ability i.e. lifting, bending, moving about with a fair amount of walking involved
• Self-directed in performing routine maintenance tasks and dealing with incoming work order requests
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail when handling assigned work orders
• Ability to write work orders and keep paper records to log performed maintenance work
• Skills in painting, drywall, windows, doors, stucco, cement repairs.
• Can repair broken or leaking plumbing and restore full use of water fixtures
• Can work on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• Have knowledge in maintaining A/C & HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control
in the functioning properly
• Apply preventative measures to the buildings/property to mitigate the risk of future problems
• Identify and communicate existing or potential issues to facilities manager
• Cleaning, maintaining, and proper storage of the tools and equipment
• Abiding by different safety measures and policies to avoid injuries
