Maintenance Person / Property Attendant Full time, Fixed Schedule, Sunday Off. Apply in person. See description below Property Attendant performs work involving the skills needed to maintain and repair room and equipment and the structure of the hotel. Duties may involve carpentry; plumbing, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, and repair of kitchen appliances, PTACs, and repairing interior and exterior walls, siding, roof, landscape, concrete, and interior carpet, floors, or stairs. Room prep, room cleaning duties, some housekeeping duties required. Ideally this person is personally committed to assure all known issues are repaired at the end of each shift of work. -Specific Duties include: Interior and exterior painting, repair vinyl floor, carpet, concrete floor, ceiling, and dry wall. Repair, replace, or, remove appliances and install replacement microwaves, sinks, refrigerators, stove tops, room furniture and fixtures as needed.   Perform basic carpenter related tasks as well as landscaping and parking lot repairs Completion of the preventative maintenance checklist and complete minor repair work orders such as replacing light bulbs, lighting fixtures, television sets, lighting systems, and makes minor repairs and/or replacement etc. to maintain the hotel and keep product quality to standard. Inspect AC units, kitchen appliances, furniture and fixtures in room, kitchen, and bathroom. Other duties may be assigned as needed. -Physical Requirements: 100 lbs. lifting with frequent lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work on their feet for full day outdoor. Must be able to use ladders frequently as well as going up and down stairs, bending, squatting, lifting, pulling/pushing Must move furniture as needed, must be able to use cleaning and painting products and electric hand tools -Skills /Qualifications: Responsible for providing their own tools. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. -Work Schedule: Full Time Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (1 hour lunch break) Off Sunday and Monday. - Compensation: $15 p/hour base pay. Up to $3.00 p/hour bonus pay. Hotel/Apartment Experience helpful. Must have a clean driving record and own a vehicle. Basic computer knowledge. Non-smoking. Preference for those who have completed training program in one or more of the following: HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general construction.
