Come join us at the Center for Urban Waters to connect with Tacoma Startups and other entrepreneurs in our community. We will also have FREE food, beverages, networking, and all smiles. Startup253 is teaming up with Tacoma Maritime Innovation Incubator and Washington Technology and Industry Association (WTIA) to bring you this event. Startup253 is Tacoma’s home for the startup community. We bring together entrepreneurial leaders, venture capital, corporate, and local government to advance our goal of helping the South Sound region become the best home for innovation and creative new companies. Tacoma's Maritime Innovation Incubator admits companies that can contribute to innovation and economic growth in the South Sound community. Our mission is to extend the time a company has to grow and refine its product/service by reducing a company’s expenses. Things like rent, internet access, an expert consultant, or a conference room to host a large meeting are difficult expenses for a young company to balance. By letting them invest that money instead into hiring, product development, and expanding their business we give them a greater chance at success. WTIA is the unifying voice for the technology community in Washington state. We inform and motivate industry, education and government professionals to help attract and develop the talent required to make our region the leading technology community in the world. NETWORK.
