The next installment in our series of Price Hill Walking Tours covers part of the neighborhood's west side, starting at St. Teresa's Church and ending amid the grandeur of historic homes in the Lackman Subdivision. Along the way, we'll discover, Overlook Avenue's links to the past, the peaceful expanse of New St. Joseph's Cemetery, the westside staple where they serve "The Best Fish Sandwich In Town," and the site where the estate of notorious bootlegger George Remus once stood. And many others!
This walking tour covers about 2.4 miles, and should last about an hour. Remember to dress for outdoors, wear appropriate shoes and bring your own water. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
This event is made possible by a generous grant from ArtsWave, with support from these organizations: Price Hill Will, Price Hill Historical Society, West Price Hill Community Council, and Westside Cincy Walking Club.
