This is going to be a BIG night at Murphy's and a kickoff to summer! Our very own Chelsea Sulkey is going back to Nashville soon, so come join us for her last show before she leaves to wish her the best of luck & be the very first ones to hear her new song release LIVE. Chelsea is releasing a new single "Another Call" on June 18th, but if you come join us at Murphy's on the 17th, she will be singing it live for us. She will also be performing her other originals & plenty of fan favorite covers for a 3-hour performance. Wanna know more about the AMAZING Chelsea Sulkey? Chelsea Sulkey is one of Nashville's newest up and coming recording artists. She is a powerhouse of a voice, standing at 4’10” and a spitfire of an attitude. With influences from Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert to Gretchen Wilson and Fleetwood Mac, she is an edgy country rock artist with class. She grew up in The Catskills of NY State in a house of 3 brothers. She learned how to be tough quick, spending her childhood outside four-wheeling, shooting guns, fishing, playing football in the yard and spent most of her grade school days on a wrestling mat while all her brothers were on the team and her dad coached. She never got the athletic gene of the family, but she was definitely always the “dramatic” one dancing around the mats, listening to music, annoying all the boys. Thankfully those younger days ended up paying off. She went from singing on wrestling mats in gymnasiums to later on opening up for her childhood favorite country band, Rascal Flatts, in front of over 16,000 people and then winning a nationwide contest through the nationally known radio station “Taste of Country”. Her debut single “On Fire” quickly rose in the Country iTunes Charts as an independent artist, and shortly after released “Raised Right” inspired by her hometown. Chelsea has been professionally singing for over 15 years. Sharing stages with Rascal Flatts, Dan + Shay, Carly Pearce, Maddie & Tae, Scotty McCreery, Eli Young Band, Frankie Ballard, Morgan Evans, Abby Anderson and The Voice winner Sawyer Fredericks. Chelsea has been featured on over 160 FM radio stations with talk show host Sam Alex on Taste of Country Nights and can also be found on their website.
