The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is transforming mobility in Northeast Florida by strengthening infrastructure, enhancing services, forming new partnerships, and focusing on sustainability. Together, these important elements help the JTA improve the quality of life for our community. Sustainability is a key strategy for the JTA as it embarks on an ambitious future in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. That is why the JTA’s Office of Sustainability is partnering with JEA and the North Florida Clean Fuels Coalition to host the inaugural Power Up! Connecting the First Coast Zero Emissions Forum June 21 – 22, 2022 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center in Downtown Jacksonville. This two-day forum will bring together experts and an audience of professionals focused on energy, sustainability, technology, transportation and related industries. The Power Up! Forum aims to bring together professionals who are leading the charge in converting transit fleets to zero-emission to meet federal, state and local sustainability and climate goals. The industry forum will empower stakeholders to make informed decisions for their fleet’s transitions to zero-emission. Content will span the entire sustainable transportation ecosystem, focusing on real-world “lessons learned” to enhance the participant’s understanding of the opportunities, challenges, and benefits for going zero-emission.
