Press release from the Town of Shrewsbury: May 27, 2022 One hundred and thirty five (135) Additional Positive Cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Town of Shrewsbury since May 20, 2022, bringing the cumulative total to 8,308. On May 20, 2022 the Shrewsbury Board of Health issued a mask advisory due to a surge in positive COVID-19 cases. The full advisory can be found here. The Shrewsbury Board of Health order to require employers to report COVID-19 cases in the workplace will remain in place until further notice. Click the link here for more information. 💉Vaccine Info: All residents 5+ who live, work, or study in Massachusetts can now be vaccinated. People ages 5-17 can only get the Pfizer vaccine. People age 18 and older can get any vaccine. All residents 18+ are now eligible for Moderna booster shot, and 12+ are eligible for a Pfizer booster shot, 6 months after receiving the second dose of a Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. All residents 18+ who received a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine are eligible for a Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 booster shot. Click the link for the press release.
